1 Month smoke free

6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

I am one month without a Black & Mild and it feels great! I always pictured a long hard struggle with smoking but it really isn't that hard at all... not with the Spirit of God strengthening me!

Every major challenge, every destructive bad habit, God has removed with ease..  Things I thought would take my lifetime to get over,  God spoke and it was done. Drinking, cursing, fornication, porno, and now I can add smoking to the list. Some might think it is my own strength, that I used to do these things, but I wanna say that is not the kind of strength I possess. I am naturally obsessive compulsive. if it's good, I usually do it with my full strength and with increasing frequency until it becomes a problem... then I do it some more. So believe me... it is not me... It is the hand of God... Thank you Jesus!
